Endoscopic Department is equipped with  modern digital video equipment. All researches are carried out in compliance with international standards of disinfection and sterilization, with the latest wash-disinfecting machines. The process 
is fully automated.

The diagnosis and treatment of the following diseases is carried out in the department:

• Esophago gastro endoscopy using digital devices, including the narrowing and image enhancement function;
• Colonoscopy using digital devices, including narrowing and editing functionality;
• Rectosigmoidoscopy using digital devices, including the narrowing and editing functionality;
• Biopsy;
• Endoscopic polypectomy from the gastrointestinal tract (small polyp exsection);
• Endoscopic polypectomy (large polyp exsection);
• Balloon dilatation and widening of the esophageal stenosis;
• Stenting of the esophagus (prosthesis) in case of harassment caused by various reasons of metal stents;
• Suspension of bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract;
• Ligation of the esophagus varicose veins;
• Removing foreign body from the esophagus and stomach;
• Endoscopic retrograde pancreato cholangiography;
• Endoscopic papilla sphincterotomy;
• Stenting of the biliary ducts - prosthesis during stenosis caused by tumor;
• Suspension of bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract;
• Ligation of varicose veins of the esophagus;
• Removing foreign body from the esophagus and stomach;
• Endoscopic retrograde pancreatic cholangiography (diagnosis of bile ducts and pancreatic diseases using the 
  X-ray contrast substance);
