The most difficult operation on the heart

The most difficult operation performed by our cardio surgeons and saved lives.

64-year-old patient was transferred from Kobuleti to Bau International Hospital in the worst condition.

Dissection of the ascending aorta, aortic arch and cardiac tamponade were diagnosed.

The condition was complicated by the patient's universal obesity, ischemic stroke, arterial hypertension.

Resection-reconstruction of the ascending aorta and aortic arch using a vascular prosthesis was performed by the team of cardiologists.

On the 6th day after the operation, the patient was discharged from the hospital in a satisfactory condition.
